Moss is the only plant that can be shipped bone-dry and come back to life in minutes. We wrap dormant sheet moss around a soft aluminium spine and a sphagnum core that holds days of water, then we send it to you asleep.
Bathe it once. It turns green in your hands. Mist it every few days and it stays that way for years.

The ritual
It arrives silver-grey and bone-light in a sealed pouch. Dormant, not dead.
Evening: mist it and close the lid. Overnight in humid air the moss switches its repair machinery back on.
Morning: fifteen minutes in the sink or the tub. Watch it turn green. Let it drip.
Bend it into a wave, a word, a horizon. Press the clips to the wall. Snap it in. No drill.
The Glow is a warm line of light hidden behind the vine. Light for the moss, a halo for you. Two cents a day.
Then: mist it until it drips every two or three days, or unclip it and give it a bath once a week. Tap water is fine. Never fertilise. That's the whole job.

Moss doesn't die when it dries. It waits. Silver in the pouch, green after the bath. This is the quarter-hour every customer will film.

Honestly
Living moss is not a poster. When you forget it, it turns silver and rests. When you mist it, it turns green again, usually within the hour. It likes it cool, a little humid, and lit gently. It hates fertiliser, direct sun through glass, and being soaked all the time.
We don't promise a jungle. We promise a living line on your wall that responds to you, and that survives your holidays.
Questions
Yes. The vine is wrapped in dried live sheet moss (Hypnum), a species that survives drying out and comes back when wet. It ships dormant, then wakes up in your sink. It photosynthesises, it grows slowly, and it responds to how you treat it.
Minutes for the colour. A few hours for full recovery. New growth takes weeks. If you follow the overnight wake-up step, the recovery is stronger.
It turns silver-grey and rests. It is not dead. Mist it or give it a bath and it comes back. Long neglect (many weeks bone-dry in a hot room) will eventually kill parts of it; the vine can be refreshed with a refill.
The clips hold the vine off the wall and you let it drip before hanging. The clips use a strong removable adhesive pad, with an optional screw hole for textured walls. Mist lightly near painted plaster, or unclip and bath it in the sink instead.
Healthy moss smells like a forest after rain, faintly, only when wet. Mould appears when moss is kept constantly soaked in a warm room without airflow. Let the surface dry between mistings; if you ever see white fuzz, a spray of diluted hydrogen peroxide fixes it. The care card explains it.
If the vine sits near a bright window, no. If it lives on an inside wall or in a room with little daylight, yes. The Glow gives the moss the little light it needs and is also what makes the wall look the way it looks in the pictures.

We are finishing a 16-week live-testing programme before we take money. Reservations are free and put you first in line; we email you the real date, and you decide then.
The Moss + Bloom recipe. At assembly we tuck flowering material into the vine at irregular intervals: for indoors, seeds of tiny wall plants (Kenilworth ivy, Irish moss, Mazus) fixed to a biodegradable tape wound into the core; for sun and outdoor walls, dry sedum cuttings and sempervivum offsets. Both ship dormant like the moss. After the bath the moss greens in an hour, seedlings show in one to three weeks and the first flowers in six to twelve; sedum roots in a few weeks and flowers in early summer. Indoor Bloom needs the Glow Pro or a bright window. A preserved-flower version exists for spaces that can't care for anything.
They are studio renders of the production design, made while the first vines grow in our test room in Alpharetta. Real photographs replace them as the prototypes mature; we'll never show you a render as a photo.
